we like mixing
different kind of ingredients with passion and creativity. We combine artisanal
and digital skills to create
our typical Italian
"handmade video".
Each brings their own skills, backgrounds, and ideas that combine into one creative vision.
They develop and manage projects in 360 degrees, from the initial idea up to the delivery of the finished product.
Dadomani’s clients include companies in advertising, film, and television.
The team creates films for commercials, short films and short animated scenes using stop motion, live action, computer graphics, and traditional animation.
A multidimensional creative studio, Dadomani is a dynamic and cohesive team working together to bring an original and fresh take on animation.

DOC
“I’ve always had a certain interest in (musical) notes and images in movement.” Self-taught in music, Doc attended several schools studying the language of images. When he completed his schooling in graphics he went to editorial illustration school. Then he began working in the world of animation at the Yusaki studio, working in animation and with plasticine. He went to a film college taking an animation course, and then became an assistant at the IED (European Design Institute). After a long time in the world of post-production as an employee he went freelance, to then establish the Dadomani studio along with three other visionaries.

LEO
Set designer with a diploma from the Brera Fine Art Accademy, class of 2004. Drawn to construction, sculpture and drawing, Leo began working in 2000 as a set designer and builder for theme parks. Subsequently his interest in the world of animation leads him to start working with Ubik Visual Effects and Crackartoons Studios, both of which allow him to dedicate his time to building mini sets and puppets for animation. In 2007 he began his collaboration with other three jailbirds and together they founded the studio.

FRA
A set designer, modeller, illustrator and creator along with the three other creative members of Dadomani studio. Francesco studied commercial art in Milan, then worked as a set designer in theatres, cruise ships and theme parks, where he fell in love with the world of animation thanks to Tim Burton’s films. He worked for two years at Fusako Yusaki’s studio as set designer and animator. In 2006, as the Animation Art Director for the Milan Film Festival he, along with three friends he had met through work, creates the logo for the Milan Film Festival. In 2007 he co-founds the Dadomani Studio in Milan.

FABIO
“When I was a kid I wanted to draw course projects … but we had to write them”.
After high school I.S.A. in Monza he took a painting course in Brera and an Illustration course at Scuola del Fumetto (Milan’s Comic Art School), fulfilling his desire to tell stories through imagery. After working as an illustrator with SF Edizioni on “il bambino di velluto” (the velvet child) he discovered stop motion animation thanks to “Nightmare Before Christmas”. He worked in the Fusako Yusaki studio, building mini sets and plasticine animations for the Swiss TV station TSI and the Japanese station NHK. Learning more about stop motion, and feeling the need to express himself freely he left the studio. Luckily met three other guys who, like him, had the same bizarre idea of expressing themselves through this technique.
